For the serious dancer ready to push towards a new level of technical and artistic excellence, our revamped Summer Intensive Program will take your dancing to new, unexpected heights! During this four week program, dancers will receive high-level dance education from expert instructors in small class sizes, focusing on training, expression, and connection, to foster a holistic dancer in today’s global world.
Dancers can expect to quickly make critical breakthroughs in their technical and artistic development through the guidance of our expert faculty. In a welcoming environment, daily classes include ballet technique, pointe, repertoire, variations, and contemporary dance techniques, in addition to curated workshops and guest masterclasses.
The program will culminate in two performances to showcase dancers’ achievements made during the four week training period.
Audition required. Financial aid is available for dancers on a need-basis.

HOUSING
José Mateo Ballet Theatre works with out-of-town dancers who have been accepted into the program to find suitable housing with host families in the area who have an affiliation with the organization.
Host Family Accommodation Fee – $1,500
